5 Artists You Should be Following
When it comes to surf-inspired art, there are many amazing female artists out there making waves. Here are 5 of our current favorites. So, if you love surfing and want some beautiful art to decorate your home with, or to spice up your Instagram feed as you endlessly scroll - these 5 female artists should be on your radar!
Kristina Young @kristina_artofpeace
We've been following Kristina's artistic journey since the early days of Her Waves and have worked with her on multiple projects. Kristina's art is fun, funky, and feminine. She owns a little shop in New Jersey called Peace of Wood - where she creates art on handmade pieces of wood built by her husband, Marshall. Each piece of art is 100% handmade from start to finish and the character of the wood always inspires the art that is created on it.
Ceri of @tropicoolstudio
Ocean-inspired art, with warm golden hues and a that endless summer glow - We love the work of Ceri - Tropicool Studio. Her tagline is "between cold seas and palm trees," as she's been traveling and living in coastal towns all over the world for the past six years. She creates gorgeous pieces of art that are inspired by surfing and her travels.
Pepä Ivanoff @pepallama
We love Pepa's bright and colorful artwork and how she blends both digital and analog art into fun designs. We love to follow her artistic journey and adventures as a traveling artist with her trusty assistant - Peruvian Hairless dog Chi Chi. She's just starting her 270th Mural.
Arienne @wavenomadph
Wave Nomad
We recently discovered the work of Arienne - Wave Nomad via her Instagram feed, and we love all her beautiful creations depicting lady sliders, skaters, and all round good vibes. Her feed is a collection of vibrant illustrations that combine her love for surfing and other interests.
