For The Love Of Art

Each month get to know one of the artists we admire with an Instagram Q&A takeover. We will post a story introducing a new artist each month with a chance for you to ask them anything.

Each artist will answer your questions using our Instagram story, providing you a behind-the-scenes look at how they create, where they live and who they are.

We will support each artist by purchasing an original piece of art from them that we will then gift to one of you! ⁠

How to participate

To participate & enter to win an original piece of art from each artist:

Once a month look out for our Instagram post and story announcing the artist we are featuring.

Ask them a question through our Instagram story & follow them for a chance to win an original piece of art!

How to be featured

If you are an artist that would like to be featured for our For The Love Of Art Series please send us an email with your name, website link, Instagram handle and if you are comfortable providing video and image answers. Email: info@herwaves.com

Artist Kristina Young

Surf artist Kristina Young Her Waves

Our first featured artist is Kristina Young from Ocean City New Jersey. Kristina is an artist and owner of the best surf/art shop, Peace of Wood where she and her husband sell surfboards, art, have painting classes and jam out with local musicians.

Kristina creates beautiful hand-painted originals on reclaimed wood created by her husband Marshall, as well as art prints, stickers, and t-shirts with her designs.

We have purchased her original painting Better Together and one lucky winner will get this sent to them. Valued at $225
